I started Tasha N’ Stitches in January 2026. I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur, and going back to the third-shift life as a machinist was no longer a thing, as I am now a stay-at-home parent.
Yes, being a SAHM has its perks, but let’s be real: I will always still want my financial independence.
The prior year, in 2025, I was buying into online “gurus” about starting businesses online from little to nothing, automation, AI, “making money while you sleep,” e-commerce, dropshipping, etc. I was learning all of this information but didn’t really know how to apply it all to start my own business. I wasn’t confident in what I was doing.
In mid-January 2026, I decided I was tired of sitting around on inventory that wasn’t making me any money. That’s when I decided to sign up for Etsy and start listing my products, and that’s when Tasha N’ Stitches was born.
I knew I wanted my business to be different. I knew I wanted my business to be a reflection of me.
I am a very handy, hands-on, DIY type of person, so I wanted my business to be centered around creatives, crafters, and the appreciation for aesthetics. I am a multifaceted person, and that is what my business reflects.
Tasha N’ Stitches isn’t about literal sewing, but all things that are me stitched into my own online brand.
